For over 25 years, Comrade Anwar Jhankar remained a powerful cultural voice of the people across the Palamu division. Through his revolutionary songs and unwavering commitment, he inspired generations of activists and strengthened people's movements against feudal oppression and communal fascist forces.
CPI(ML) said that Comrade Jhankar played a vital role in the party's major campaigns and mass struggles across Bihar and Jharkhand. His passing is an irreparable loss not only to the party but also to the struggles of the poor and oppressed.
